2022 Recipient of the Maryland State Arts Council Arts of Across Maryland Planning Grant
Inspired by David Hammons’ dribble prints. I hosted a Dribble Drawing Workshop in West Baltimore at the Robert C. Marshall Community Center. Jersey-shaped banners were dribbled on with ink covered basketballs. To help facilitate, I invited players from the University of Maryland Mens bball team. The kids gave me selected words of motivation and inspiration to put on the jersey banners to be installed in the gym.
